This page is written to describe Millwonder’s current practices and legal position clearly. It should be read with any contract that applies to a specific service or project.
1. Current use of cookies
Millwonder.com does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies. The static website uses the browser’s localStorage feature for two essential preference records. Local storage remains on your device until you clear it and is not automatically transmitted to Millwonder.
2. Preference records
“mw-theme” stores your selected light or dark colour theme. “mw-cookie-choice” records whether you selected “Essential only” or “Accept all” so the preference notice does not reappear on every visit. These records do not contain your name, email address, advertising identifier or browsing history.
3. Legal basis and necessity
These preference records support a service specifically requested by the visitor and are treated as strictly necessary functionality. No non-essential storage is activated by selecting “Accept all” in the current version because the site has no analytics or advertising tools.
4. Hosting information
The hosting provider may process server logs required to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, request time, page requested, user agent and security events. These server-side logs are not browser cookies and are governed by the Privacy Policy and the provider’s contractual controls.
5. Managing storage
You can remove the records through your browser’s site-data or privacy settings. Clearing them resets the theme and causes the preference notice to appear again. Blocking local storage may prevent preferences from being remembered but should not prevent access to page content.
6. Future changes
If Millwonder introduces analytics, embedded media, advertising or other non-essential technologies, we will update this policy and request valid consent before those technologies are activated where required. Questions may be sent to privacy@millwonder.com.
